It will be held on the grass area above the Waterfront car park and is due to be opened tomorrow at 6 pm by the Constable of St Helier, Simon Crowcroft.
It is due to run daily between noon and 10.30 pm until the bank holiday on Monday 27 August.
The festival will include 14 stalls offering a range of Madeiran and Portuguese cuisine. There will also be a programme of entertainment.
