Course details: For those people who enjoy painting a variety of different subjects in an exciting and expressive way. Using oils, acrylics, gouache or watercolour, you will have the opportunity to develop your own artistic style while also gaining tutor and group feedback.
Ann Morgan will be holding a joint exhibition with other art tutors at the Berni Gallery from 26 November to 15 December.

Course details: It’s never too late to learn to read music and play an instrument, so why not start with the recorder or flute? For those budding flautists, you will be working from Team Woodwind, and for the recorder players, you will be working from Sing, Clap and Play Book 1. An excellent introduction to music playing in a fun and relaxed environment. No musical knowledge or experience is required.

Guitar Workshop: : Music and Performance

Course details: Rick will introduce fingerings and harmonies used to create some of the classic blues sounds in the open D chord family of tunings, and will get students into improvisation. Students should be able to do simple right hand finger style patterns and feel comfortable with basic chords and rhythms.
Rick will be performing at the Benjamin Meaker Theatre on Wednesday 14 November at 8pm.

Course details: Reiki Master Rick Bockner will offer a general talk about this Japanese healing technique. This talk will cover history and ways to apply Reiki in daily life and also give participants a chance to ask questions. Rick was a student of Hawayo Takata, and has been practising Reiki for thirty years.
