Living in Jersey

Beauport

Beauport is one of Jersey's treasures. It can be reached only on foot by a path leading from the car park at the top of the cliffs, which helps to ensure that it seldom gets too crowded.

The beach, which has pebbles near the top but fine sand lower down, is dominated by huge rock pinnacles sculpted into fantastic shapes by the elements. Bathing is safe, but there are no facilities. Sometimes the bay fills up with yachts at anchor, but most people regard these as a colourful addition to the scene.

Served by bus route 12a.
