Today Kilmartin won the opening two frames, 60-17, 74-18, against Israel's Roei Fernandez only to be beaten 4-2 with the final frame going against Kilmartin 46-38.
The Jersey cueist will be looking to win both tomorrow's matches to move back into contention, they are against Oman's Ahmed Basheer, who is currently twelfth, and Belgium's Yvan Van Velghoven, who is sixth.
