Club president Mark Dunlop has secured the attendance of Woods, pictured, for the Hotel L'Horizon event in which the Island's top young boxers take on a Yorkshire/Sheffield select.
British Boxing Board of Control English super featherweight champion, Femi Fehintola, will also be at the tournament as will former Irish Heavyweight champion Joe Egan - famous for being Mike Tyson's sparring partner when Iron Mike was in his prime.
Jersey Leonis boxers in action tomorrow are: Ben Murray, Danny Maka, Danny Kennedy, Craig Culkin, Ruben Legge, Decio Ferreira, Ricky Pryor, Shane Goggin, Mahmoud Farag, Scott Finnigan.
Other Jersey boxers resume their National Novice championship campaigns this weekend in the Western Counties finals at the Empire BC in Bristol.
Leonis Boxing Club's Boyd Munroe takes on Bristol's Empire Boxing Club fighter Michael Waldron in the Class B 60-64 kilos (under 20 bouts) event in which he will need to perform over four rounds to secure victory.
Leonis' Scott Harben, who entered through Lawrence Boys ABC in the 69-75 kilo class after failing to make the 69 kilo class, pulled off a big upset when he put down Paul Prima from Brighton for an eight count. He won on a majority decision over the middleweight hot favourite and now boxes on Sunday afternoon in Southampton against Andy Omice.
