Phoenix flies again under new manager

By Jo Hutchison

CHANNEL Island Software has updated its trust and company administration system and is also under new management.

Phoenix, which was developed in 1995 by technical director Andrew Richards, is being relaunched by new managing director Tristan Lewis and a team of nine staff.

The software, which carries out full accountancy and bookkeeping, currency accounting, credit control and time recording and billing, has recently been updated to keep in line with Jersey laws.

The product also takes into account changes in compliance laws and the company's anti-money laundering service, called Know Your Client, has been adapted to keep it current.

Mr Lewis, a chartered accountant, joined the team in May and took on five more staff to promote the product to a wider market.
