Drug Addiction
Help is available on the Island for anyone with a drug or alcohol problem.
The Jersey Addiction Group runs a States of Jersey Registered, 12 bedded residential centre at Silkworth Lodge, for the treatment and rehabilitation of sufferers of drug and alcohol misuse problems.
The treatment programme has proven to be very successful in helping substance misusers to achieve and maintain abstinence, re-gain self-esteem and develop healthy, contented and fulfilling lifestyles.
A free assessment and consultation is available within 48 hours to substance misusers, concerned family members, colleagues or friends who seek advice about dealing with the problem.

Drug use
Drugs offences are strictly enforced in Jersey and personal possession of Class A drugs (heroin, ecstasy, cocaine, etc), Class B drugs (amphetamines, marijuana, etc) and Class C drugs (valium, etc) is an offence for which the offender is likely to be arrested. Penalties may include a fine, imprisonment or both.
