Walking

There are many lovely walks in the Island ranging from cliff paths to quiet country lanes.

Whether coast walks, woodland walks or pub walks are your thing, Jersey is a maze of paths and lanes just waiting to be explored.

There are a number of allocated 'Green Lanes' around the Island which have a 15 mph speed limit and give priority to pedestrians and cyclists. This makes walking around the Island a safe and experience.

A very popular Island walking event is the Itex walk. A charity fundraiser, it attracts an increasing number of walkers each year all of whom aim to walk around the entire Island in just one day.

Jersey Tourism help to arrange walks of all standards, which are conducted by experienced guides. For more information contact Tourism on . Other walks are organised by the Environmental Services Unit. For further information call .
