'A-levels' over, so where do you go from here?

Approximately 400 students per year leave the Island for higher education. For students in full time education their university application is handled by their own educational institution. For independent applicants the Careers Office can help.
The ten most popular universities for Jersey students are: University of the West of England; Exeter University; Nottingham Trent University; Nottingham University; Plymouth; Kingston; Bournemouth; Cardiff University; the Arts Institute at Bournemouth and Oxford Brookes University.
The closing date for most UCAS applications is the 15th January. Applications for student Finance should be in by 31st March.
Student Finance
Financial assistance is offered by the Education Committee for students wishing to undertake further or higher education. It is means tested according to the income of the parents/guardians and is reviewed annually.
